Regarding the legal basis for the processing of your data, the following applies:
We process personal data required for substantiating, rendering, or implementing our services (contract processing) based on Article 6 (1) b GDPR. If we obtain your consent to the processing of your personal data, in accordance with Art. 6 (1) a GDPR, that consent forms the legal basis forthe processing of your data. Data processing is also permitted if we are processing your data to pursue our legitimate interests and your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms regarding the processing of personal data do not override our legitimate interests. If we use external service providers within the scope of data processing, processing is carried out based on Article 28 GDPR.

6. Inclusion of third-party services

Our website uses content and services from other providers, such as services for the statistical evaluation of usage of and visits to our website, or to embed videos from video platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo. It is essential for the user’s IP address to be transmitted to these third-party providers so that this data can be retrieved and displayed in the user’s browser.
Even if we strive to only use third-party providers who need the IP addresssolely to be able to supply content or who work with anonymised IP addresses, we are unable to influence whether the IP address is stored. Cookies

Our website collects and stores information by using what are known as browser cookies. Cookies are little text files that are stored on your computer and store specific settings and data for exchange with our system via your browser. In general, a cookie contains the name of the domain that sent the cookie data, as well as information about the cookie’s age and an alphanumeric identification code.

If we request information on our contact form, we have marked the required fields to contact us (asterisk). We use the voluntary information to gain a better understanding of your enquiry and to enable us to resolve your query more efficiently. You send the requested data to us on a purely voluntary basis.

Depending on the type of enquiry, the legal basis for this processing is Art.6(1)b GDPR for enquiries which you make yourself as part of steps prior to entering a contract or Art. 6(1)f GDPR if your enquiry is of a different nature. Our legitimate interest is based on the purposes stated in 3a.). If personal data is requested which we do not need to perform a contract or pursue legitimate interests, that data is sent to us based on consent given by you in accordance with Art. 6(1) a GDPR.

9. Use of Google Maps

Our website uses the Google Maps map service to integrate and display map content. This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Your IP address is recorded when you download a page with an integrated map from Google Maps. This information is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google learns the IP address that you used to log in, even if you do not have a user account. If you havelogged in to your user account, Google is able to attribute your browsing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this if you log out first. The provider of this page does not influence this transmission of data.

Google Maps is used in the interests of appealing presentation of our online offering and ease of locating us at the sites we list on the website. 10. Use of Google AdSense

In the interest of the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of ouronline offer, we use Google AdSense, a service of Google Inc.(https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA: hereinafter “Google”). Google is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and thereby offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).

In this context, advertisements are displayed on our website, and we receive remuneration for displaying or otherwise using them. For these purposes, usage data, such as the click on an ad and the IP address of the users are processed, whereby the IP address is shortened by the last two digits. Therefore, the processing of the users’ data is pseudonymized.
We use AdSense with personalized ads. In doing so, Google draws conclusions about users’ interests based on the websites they visit or appsthey use, and the user profiles thus created. Advertisers use this information to tailor their campaigns to these interests, which benefits users and advertisers alike. For Google, ads are personalized when captured or known data determines or influences ad selection. This includes past search queries, activities, website visits, app usage, demographic, and location information, among others. Specifically, this includes demographic targeting, targeting on interest categories, remarketing, and targeting on customer matching lists and audience lists uploaded to DoubleClick Bid Manager or Campaign Manager.

The legal basis for the use of Google AdSense is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest is based on the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our online offer.

11. Use of Google Analytics

Our website uses functions from web analysis service Google Analytics. The web analysis service provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses cookies. These are little text files that your web browser stores on your device and that facilitate analysis of website use.Information about your use of our website generated by these cookies is transmitted to a Google server and stored there. The servers are usually located in the USA.

We have concluded an agreement with Google concerning processing to meet statutory data protection regulations in full.

Our website uses Google Analytics’ ‘Demographics’ feature. It generates reports containing information about the age, gender, and interests of website visitors. This data is generated by Google’s interest-related advertising and obtained from visitor data from Third-Party Providers. It is not possible to attribute data to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time. You can do this via the advertising settings in your Google account, or by generally prohibiting collection of your data by Google Analytics as explained under ‘Object to data collection’.

12. Use of Google Inc.’s remarketing function

We use Google Inc.’s remarketing function on our website (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA: ‘Google’). This function is used to analyse visitor behaviour and visitor interests.

Google uses cookies to analyse website use, which serves as a basis for generating interest-based advertising. The cookies record visits to the website as well as anonymous data about the use of the website. The personal data of visitors to the website is not stored. 13. Data subjects’ rights

You have the right:

  • in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR to obtain information about your personal data which we process. In particular, you can obtain information about the purposes of the processing, the category of personal data concerned, the categories of recipient to whom your personal data have been or will be disclosed, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored, the existence of the right to rectification or erasure, restriction of processing or the right to object, the source of your data if not collected by us and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, in those cases, meaningful information about the logic involved;
  • in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to obtain without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you stored by us.
  • in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, to obtain the erasure of personal data concerning you stored by us, provided the processing is not necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
  • in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, to obtain the restriction of the processing of your personal data, if the accuracy of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful, but you oppose its erasure, and we no longer need the data, but you require the data for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or you have objected to processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR.
  • in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR to receive your personal data whichyou have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or to have that data transmitted to another controller (data portability).
  • in accordance with Art. 7(3) GDPR, to withdraw the consent you gave to us at any time. If you do this, we will not be able to continue the data processing to which such consent related in futureand

14. Forwarding of your personal data

Your personal data is forwarded as described below.

The website is hosted by an external service provider in Germany. We will ensure that data processing takes place in Germany only. This is required to operate the website and to substantiate, execute and implement the existing licence agreement and is also possible without your consent. Yourdata may also be forwarded if, due to statutory provisions and/or official orcourt orders, we are authorised or obliged to forward data. In particular, this may be a question of provision of information for the purposes of prosecution, to avert risks, or to enforce intellectual property rights.

If your data is forwarded to service providers to the extent necessary, theyhave access to your personal data only insofar as is necessary for fulfilment of their duties. These service providers are obliged to handle your personal details in accordance with the applicable data protection laws, in particular the GDPR.

Over and above these circumstances, in principle we do not transmit your data to third parties without your consent. In particular, we do not pass personal data on to an agency in a third country or to an international organisation.

15. Data security

Unfortunately, transmission of data via the internet is never 100% secure, which is why we are unable to guarantee security of the data transmitted to our website via the internet.
We use technical and organisational measures, however, to secure our website against loss, destruction, access, modification, or dissemination ofyour data by unauthorised persons.
In particular, we transfer your personal data in encrypted form. We use theSSL/TLS (Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security) coding system.We continually improve our security measures in accordance with technological developments.

16. Duration of personal data storage

Regarding storage duration, we erase personal data as soon as we no longer need to store it to fulfil the original purpose and all statutory periods of retention have elapsed. The statutory periods of retention ultimately are the criterion for the final duration of personal data storage. The corresponding data is routinely erased after the period has expired. Data processing is restricted by blocking the data if statutory retention periods must be observed.
